THE WORD—YOUR TRUE LIFE AND ENVIRONMENT

 Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ... (2 Corinthians 3:3).

 1 Peter 1:23 tells us something remarkable; it says, “Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.” A similar truth is emphasized in James 1:18, “Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.” God’s Word gave birth to you; and what does that make you?

 It means you’re the Word in flesh! The Word of God is your life-source, and every living thing must be connected to its source to live. This is why your fellowship with the Word is so important. Your true life and environment are in the Word. If you live outside the Word, you’re functioning outside your divine environment.

 The Apostle Paul, by the Spirit, connects and unveils this beautifully in 2 Corinthians 3:2-3. First, he says, “Ye are our epistle...” and then he goes further to say, “...ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ...” You’re the living epistle, the living message, the living 58 expression of Christ to your world. The Lord Jesus is called the living Word; therefore, being born of His Word, you carry His life, nature, wisdom and character within you.

 You’re indestructible because you’re born of His indestructible seed (His Word), which lives and abides forever. Therefore, your sufficiency, your ability, competence, strength and capacity come from your divine origin. Many struggle in life because they don’t live according to this truth. They attempt to live outside the environment of the Word.

 But the Christian who meditates on the Word continually stays connected to the source of his divine nature. The more the Word dominates your spirit, the more your true nature is unveiled. God’s Word created the universe. His Word is everything. As you meditate on it, it transforms your life. Think, speak, and live the Word. Glory to God!

I’m born of God’s incorruptible Word; I’m the living epistle of Christ. My life is the manifestation of divine wisdom, glory and power. As I meditate on the Word, even now, I’m strengthened, transformed and established in victory, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
